hmm shall write a brief post...

was really touched just now... i don't know why.. maybe to some of us it may not be a big deal... but i really respected this person a lot today... his name is bro yeow kuang (or shall i called him yk instead of the bro in front... never mind...)

why was i touched... cos' as i was doing ushering today... i was called with yuang chin from my team to help out in carrying 19 chairs and stands for the orchestra people on stage as there was a mini orchestra performance by our own members today ... and we did a lot of rehearsals to familiarise the stage. but cos' yuang chin had to grab his stuff from a friend.. he asked me tag along with him... bro yk was our i/c for the chair placement on the stage... apparently we didnt know that there was a final briefing (or we may have forgotten), and we carried on w/o letting bro yk know... and it took him 15 min to find us... and when he saw us, he was quite furious la... cant blame him.. my fault.. but as he was ticking us off for a while... one thing that struck me was after the ticking off, he toned down in his voice and began explaining why he was so furious... and then finally he told us "sorry if i sounded very fierce (just now)". i tell you... these 6 words are enough to make my day.

by right, he's a team leader, he has the right to tick us off, and rebuke us for our carelessness of leaving him when he needs us the most . and yes... he did that... he did ticked us off.. but the beautiful thing is he apologised when it's not even his fault! there are people i know who do not even apologise even when they know that it's their fault in the matter. and there are people who let their emotions loose and start scolding u like crazy until you think you are worthless in life. but bro yk, being a team leader, didnt hesitate to control his emotions and handle it rightly and get his point across tactfully.

like what i said, i don't know about you.. but to me... when someone apologises over something they have done (or not even done...), it amazes me... cos' his/her humility really amazes and impresses me. and for today, i guess even in the midst of all the ushering problems, my day was light up because of those 6 words. i really thank God that he's my team leader. haha.
