i realised I haven't blogged for a while. =)

anyway... let's see what i have missed out writing in this blog.... i just came back from ROC on tuesday... left singapore on friday 15th june... it was quite a fine 5 days we had in taiwan. weather's hot, place is beautiful... lotsa places to walk... it looked pretty much like singapore, except maybe, the signs over there are written in CHINESE!!! haha... and not just simplified chinese, TRADITIONAL CHINESE!!! lol. had a hard time reading...

we left changi airport at 1pm, and touched down at taoyuan airport at 5.40pm. took a BMW luxury cab (woohoo~) down to the city of taipei. checked into paradise hotel at ximen ding.. then we went to eat at some nice beef noodle restaurant nearby. first night was so cool. was quite excited to walk around the whole of ximen ding...but time was late.. and we went to...(eer shall i say this... hmmmx...) Room 18, a club at downtown taipei area... it was my first time entering a club, to be honest. and i had a great time there... though i didnt really approve of what's going on, but it's a great experience .

reached the hotel room at 2am the next day.. and woke up at 9am. then we headed off to houshanpi to walk around the rural market areas... we went to wufenpu... and raohe... these two markets... but ended up buying nothing.. =( sadded.... then we went up north to shilin... i think this place is quite familiar to most students who go over to taiwan for exchange programmes. even my sister has comments to say about this place. its one of the most happening night markets in taipei... but i didnt like the idea of going there TWICE (i went there the next day as well) cos' of all the squeezing and walking and in the end i lost much of my appetite over there. didnt really eat the street stalls cos' i just didnt feel too well.. but it was fun still... reached home/hotel quite late....

the next day... we made a trip down to xinbeitou, where a lot of spring bath are... and guess wat we did... we had a springbath! lol.... oh man this is so embarrasing.. but i forgot to bring a spare change of clothes (including my ...eer.. undergarments?) and it ended up that i have to go into the hot water almost stark naked.... well i did cover my front with a towel... and jeremy was laughing away cos' he happened to see me exposed.... grrr... sickening... aniyway... enough of that... then we went down to shilin (AGAIN!!!) and this time i really felt sick of the crowd.. haha..

the final day.... we went down to dan shui... the furthest town so far in our whole trip... from xinmen ding... i guess no one really enjoyed it cos' it was so hot, and the shops there are like so rural style, with no aircon... but i really enjoyed buying stuff i like.... then after that in the evening, we went to this place called huaxi street (or huaxi jie in chinese) and guess what we had... FRIED SNAKE MEAT!!! hahaha... =P

okie... i need to sleep le... tml is going to be a LONG LONG day for me... =)
