so tired... ran 21km army half marathon today. i m so proud to say that i survived it! yay! even though i didnt run 21km non-stop, i was quite happy that i at least completed it... =) heh...
hmm.. heard that someone died during the 21km run... some captain collapsed after the run and just died ... man.. my condolences to the family of this warrior, whoever he may be.

anyway, after the run, i rushed down for service at expo. was 34 min late... but thankfully i didnt miss the Word. And I believe Pastor's message was really a word in season for my life. Yeah... and thank God that i came down. I was really tempted not to go down as I was already so tired and my legs were like giving way as I walked from the floating platform to city hall mrt.
am so glad to see my cell group today .... didnt managed to see them yesterday. so happy to see thomas, lizhen, poh choo, pamela, elaine... and of course.. eric... =)
oh yar... lizhen, if you are reading this, just want to say bon voyage for your trip to taiwan~!! =)
I am really feeling quite happy today. I dunno why also. hehe... usually, with only 3 hours of sleep, i get quite grouchy... but today i feel quite high. haha. ok fine, my post is so random.. i shall be more organised in writing this post..
anyway, after service, elaine and i went to meet my dad, mom and ah ma for lunch...and then go to the (cemetery? or i dunno wat u call that la.. ).. cos' it's my ah gong's death anniversery in a few days' time. when we were in that place, i was quite intriqued (spelling error i guess) by the chinese words on brown plaques all around the room... it is a chinese christian place... so all the chinse words are christian-related...yeah... i was so fascinated by the biblical verses in mandarian... and my ah ma was like reading those verses... and when i saw her reading, i was really touched.. because my ah ma is 75 years in age this year, and she may not seem outwardly fervent for the Lord, but she has what most people call "child-like faith" in God.
next week i will be confined .. but i think i will be out by next tuesday (4th sept) bah... hopefully we can take our leaves and offs from then... yeah...
okie... before i go, just want to say thanks to the following people for this week:
- pamela - thanks for really helping to queue up for the service. i was quite pleasantly surprised, and hpapy to see you queuing up, esp when i was guarding the door at door 1.. heh.
- andrew - similarly, thanks for helping queue up on sat...
- thomas, poh choo, lizhen, elaine- thanks for helping take care of eric throughout the service today.
- thaddeus - for helping plan who to queue up yesterday
- vincent - for understanding my plight of having to book in yesterday evening, and helping me out to get me out of expo so that i can book in.
- Lt Dexter - for allowing me to book in at 1930 h instead of 1900 h yesterday...
- Daniel Ngui - for helping me arrange the booking in at 1930h yesterday.
- Leong, Wei Hang, Eugene - for assisting me in my detachement (vehicle) during our Army Open House Preparations
- Kok Hong - for helping me make sure that things are alright in my detachment.
- Felix - for caring for me during this period of my army life.
yeah...
