Do we mean what we sing?

When we sing, "There can be miracles", do we believe that there are miracles to those who believe?

When we sing, "Don't give up on your faith", are we already in the midst of losing our belief system?

When we sing, "What makes you different, makes you beautiful", do we refer to a sudden surge of emotional attachment, or a lifetime commitment?

When we sing, "God of my forever", is the God that you believe in, the God of your bad times too?

When we sing, "That's what friends are for, for good times, and bad times,...", so we shrug the shoulder when they do not seem to benefit us anymore?

When we sing, "Jesus, You are my best friend", do we sing out of hype, or out of sacrifice. By the way, friendship is not a one-way relation. Are you His friend? Is He really your best friend? Or do you have other "friends" alongside Him?
